Mirri chosen for iconic British Vogue cover

British Vogue’s renowned September issue has been given a helping hand by Mirri.

We collaborated with the high-end publication to produce its attention-grabbing front cover, which, along with the magazine’s contents, celebrates inspirational female changemakers of recent history.

Each year, the iconic September edition of Vogue is much-anticipated by all in the fashion world, as it looks ahead to autumn’s trends and features the world’s biggest names photographed as cover stars. This September’s issue is no different – it’s edited by HRH The Duchess of Sussex and its cover features 15 of the world’s most successful women. to achieve the stunning results of that cover.

For each edition’s cover, Vogue uses its own stock. For this particular edition, the magazine asked us to metallise 50,000 sheets. It’s printed with white, CMYK and neon orange, and a CMYK reverse on silver Mirri. Each featured woman is given a spot on the cover, while the 16th square appears as a silver reflective mirror – to signify how the reader is part of this moment for empowered women – and that’s why Mirri was chosen for the job.

We worked with Windles Group, which printed the striking cover. The September issue is on sale now.
